VISITOR IN DISGUISE
Villagers in Vrindavana still tell the tale of King Kamsa’s visit to Vrindavana five thousand years ago.
One day, Kamsa dressed as a village woman and went to Vrindavana to kill Krishna. Kamsa was uncomfortable pretending to be a woman, and his feeble attempts to perform simple village activities embarrassed him and amused the local people.
That evening, Narada Muni arrived in Vrindavana to warn the villagers that the wicked King Kamsa was hiding in disguise among them. Narada Muni also directed and empowered the villagers to capture King Kamsa, to bind him, and to expel him from Vrindavana.
