CHINTA’S DIWALI

On the eve of Diwali, Chinta, a squirrel devotee of Lord Rama, roamed the streets of Ayodhya looking for decorations for her nest.

Chinta wanted to celebrate Diwali with her twins, and she yearned for some tinsel to increase the festive mood.

Early on Diwali morning, Chinta found a half-full box of sweets decorated with lovely shining tinsel. She dragged the box home, decorated her nest and set the sweets on three leaf plates. Chinta and her twins sang prayers to Lord Rama and enjoyed a fine Diwali breakfast.
