VRINDAVANA DOGS

Jag, a boy living in Vrindavana, desperately longed for a pet. First, he asked his mother for a horse, then for a cat, a parrot, and a dog. They finally agreed that Jag would adopt a street dog. He would care for the dog, but it would not be allowed to go inside their house.

When Jag’s dog had puppies, Jag worried about them surviving the bitter winter weather. Jag’s mother stepped in and provided nice bedding to keep Roofie and her puppies warm.

Jag was happy because the puppies survived the coldest winter days, but he did not give up his plans to get a horse when he grew up.
