KRISHNA CHARMS A FRUIT SELLER

Before Krishna could even talk, He charmed a fruit seller into exchanging her entire stock of fruit for a few grains which He held in His tiny hands.

Enchanted by Krishna’s smile, and without considering how she would get enough to eat that day, the woman gave Krishna all the fruit that she had in her basket.

On her way home, the woman’s empty basket suddenly became heavy, almost too heavy to carry, and when she looked inside, she marvelled at the shining jewels that Krishna had magically placed there.
