KRISHNA CHARMS A FRUIT SELLER

Before Krishna could even talk, He charmed a forest woman into giving Him her entire stock of fruit in exchange for just the few grains that He held in His tiny hands.

Krishna had enchanted the woman, and without thinking about how she might acquire enough wheat for her own chapatis that day, she gave Krishna all the fruit she had.

On her way home, the woman’s empty basket suddenly became heavy, almost too heavy to carry, and when she looked inside, she marvelled at the treasury of jewels that Krishna had magically put there.
