KRISHNA BREAKS A POT AND MAKES A BUTTERY MESS

One day, when Krishna was a mischievous toddler, He flew into a tantrum when Mother Yashoda put Him aside to tend to some milk that was boiling over on the stove.

In His outburst of anger, Krishna smashed His mother’s churning pot, which was full of butter. He then ate handfuls of the butter, splashing it here and there and trampling it all over the floor as He moved about in the kitchen.

Marvelling at the mess He had made, Krishna rushed into the courtyard to escape punishment from His mother.

Krishna jumped onto a grinding mortar, which stood in the courtyard, and He proceeded to feed the butter to a band of monkeys that had surrounded Him.
