KRISHNA AND BALARAMA’S NAME GIVING CEREMONY
Garga Muni secretly arrived in Vrindavana and visited the palace of Nanda Maharaja.
Garga Muni and Nanda Maharaja discussed the name giving ceremony of Krishna and Balarama and, to prevent the wicked King Kamsa from discovering the boys’ whereabouts, they decided to hold the ceremony in a secluded cowshed.
In the simple, but beautiful ceremony, Garga Muni predicted the horoscopes of Krishna and Balarama and gave them three primary names each.
